SOUTH SUFFOLK LEISURE TRUST OPEN EVENING

Thank you for your interest in our Leisure Trust open evening on 29^th September 2005.

This is a very exciting time for everyone involved in the formation of the new Leisure Trust and the open evening will mark the first formal step in establishing the new organisation. Community involvement is essential to the future success of the Trust in Babergh and the appointment of community Trustees is therefore a key focus at this time.

An information pack is available, providing further information regarding the Trust and includes a map to help you find the Council Offices.

The evening will commence at 7pm with a finger buffet and light refreshments. We will then move to the Council Chamber at around 7.30pm for presentations followed by a question and answer session. We aim to provide you with as much information as possible regarding the establishment of the Trust and in particular the roles and responsibilities of becoming a Trustee.

To ensure that the communities in Babergh receive the best leisure services possible, we need enthusiastic and committed individuals to ‘step up to the mark’ and become a Trustee.  We hope that many of you will wish to apply for a position on the Board following the open evening and very much look forward to meeting you on 29^th September.
