Local Government Review (LGR)
As you have probably seen on the TV and the press in recent weeks that the Government is thinking of changing the way local councils in Suffolk are put together - so instead of having a county council and seven district/borough councils providing public services in Suffolk there's a proposal that we should have just two new 'all purpose' councils (called Unitary Councils) in the county. For further information, please see our Unitary Councils - and You! newsletter - PDF 590KB.
