Litter and Dog Bins

Summary

Litter and dog bins are provided by the Town / Parish Councils and are emptied by Babergh District Council Contractors.

There are approx. 380 litter bins and 320 dog bins in the Babergh District.

The majority of bins are owned by the parish councils, who decide on their position and how many they have. Babergh empties the bins on their behalf (emptying frequency varies from twice a day to once a week depending on location and usage).

If you would like to suggest a location for a litter or dog bin please contact your parish council directly or contact us and we will pass the recommendation to them.
