PETITIONS
The Director of Corporate Services to report, in accordance with Council Procedure Rule No. 13, the receipt of the following petition submitted to the Chief Executive.
B/11/00825/FUL – Construction of 35 two, three and four bedroom apartments, bungalows and houses with associated roads, paths, driveways, car parking, garages and landscaping, new access from Friends Field and Tawneys Ride, plus public open space (including an equipped play area), land south of Friends Field, Bures St Mary
Petition signed by approximately 27 residents of Babergh expressing concerns about traffic/access/parking at Friends Field/Cuckoo Hill, Bures St Mary.
The petition will be taken into account when the planning application is determined at a future meeting of the Development Committee.
In accordance with Council Procedure Rules, the Chief Executive will report the receipt of the petition to the Council meeting on 5 September 2011.

The Chairman to answer any questions on any matters in relation to which the Council has powers or duties which affect the District and which fall within the terms of reference of the Committee of which due notice has been given in accordance with Council Procedure Rule No. 15.4 – (a) and (b).

SITE INSPECTIONS
In addition to any site inspections which the Committee may consider to be necessary, the Chief Planning Control Officer recommends that a site inspection takes place in respect of the following application:-
B/11/00830/FUL – erection of a new community health centre comprising a part single, part two-storey building (approximately 3,300sqm Class D1 floor space), the construction of new vehicular access (onto Churchfield Road) and an access road serving as an in/out entrance and exit to the Health Centre, 180 car parking spaces (with provision for disabled, family and electric car users and secure, covered motorcycle and cycle parking provision), the provision of a pedestrian and cycle track, with details of external lighting provision, foul and surface water drainage provision, and associated landscaping (incorporating tree, shrub and hedgerow planting and associated grass areas) and all ecological mitigation areas (as amplified by agents letter dated 18 July 2011 and accompanying information received by Local Planning Authority on 19 July 2011), land at County Farm, fronting Churchfield Road and Waldingfield Road, Chilton.
The provisional date for site inspections is Wednesday, 14 September 2011.
